Heidi Tolar cites being able to help clients to successfully grow their business, and being surrounded by people she share similar values and aspirations to, as the two key things she loves about working for Valorium Advisors.
A self-confessed fan of spreadsheets, Heidi prides herself on being hard-working, diligent and reliable. She likes to look past the numbers when helping people achieve success in their own business.
A CPA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Heidi also wears a number of other hats: Mum, chef, cleaner, teacher, negotiator, peacekeeper, referee and taxi driver to her three children. No wonder she says she gets no free time!
Indiscriminate when it comes to her favourite music genre, she is very clear when it comes to her favourite TV show – Game of Thrones (except the last season!)
Heidi describes her life as a combination of Forrest Gump (life is like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re going to get) and Fast & Furious (no explanation needed – refer above!). Her favourite saying is ‘the world is your oyster’ – although salmon is her favourite food. Courtney Cox is her choice to play the role of Heidi in a film about her life.
A lover of Christmas and the traditions of giving and spending time with her family, her choice of famous dinner guests would be Michael Jordan, Emilia Clarke and Mark Wahlburg. Heidi’s dream holiday would be to the Caribbean and she’s been lucky enough to spend one Christmas in the Happiest Place on Earth – Disneyland!
Heidi’s superpower is swimming. She swam for Australia and in 2004 was honoured with a Life Membership of Hunter Swim Club. Passionate about giving back to the club that supported her growing up, she volunteers her time as Club Secretary and facilitated Valorium Advisors becoming a Race Day sponsor at Hunter Swim Club’s annual swimming carnival.
